While I do think that I relate to a couple of the six thinking hats such as green and red, but the one that I relate to the most is the Yellow Hat. I tend to think more positively about things. When problem solving, I tend to pay attention to all of the benefits a solution may have rather than what could go wrong. Since I have this style of thinking I tend to hold on to scraps of yarn, fabric, paper, and other materials because I know that there is something I could use it for in the future.
The person I discussed the six thinking hats with was not familiar with it, so after a quick introduction they were able to give me some feed back. They said they think they relate to the green hat the most because they really like exploring abstract ideas. When I introduced my semester project to them, they talked about how much they liked the idea and wondered if I could make it more interactive. I asked them to explain and they brought up the idea of having forum space for users to ask questions and have me or other crafters help answer them. They could upload images or videos of what they are having issues with and they could get a direct response. I'm not sure how I would implement something like this, but I like the idea.
