Violation of #6

The website Goodreads really struggles with this. All of the clickable items are small and hidden away. There is no menu bar at the top, so the user is left digging around the site to find things to click on.

Storytelling

Transforming your ideas into stories is helpful because it can help you take a step back and organize all of the scattering ideas. When a story can be told linearly te more concise and clear it the ideas will come accross.

Typography

Heirarchy through text can be established in many ways but the most common ways to achieve this is through the font and size. The New York Times showcases this by providing the title of the website at the top center of the website that is in a different font and size from the rest of the text. going further down the website we can see that titles of articles are written larger and bolder to catch the eye of the viewer.

Problem

The problem that my site plans to solve is the issue surronding the lack of younger people in crafting spaces. I want my site to spread the love of crafting for more people my age.

Audience

My Audience is going to be for cafters between the ages of 18 and 30 who are looking for a place to gain inspriation for their own crafts.

Competition

There isn't much competition because my website is a bit niche but TL Yarn Crafts is a site that is similar to what I want to acheive.

Key Messages

Love for crafting should not be restricted and should be loved and embraced. I am a person who does not stay exclusive to one craft and I want other people my age to join in.

Call to Action

My call to action will be to create a brand for myself as a person who enjoys crafts so much that they want others to experience that joy.

How to Measure Success

To measure my success I would like to see any kind of engagement with my site whether they are viewing it or sharing it with others. As long as people see it, that means I am reaching my goal of spreading the love of crafting
